Mosaic

I love the challenges mosaic presents: problem-solving to match the right substrate and adhesives for the object's purpose, selecting compelling color palettes and grout, conceiving and translating the design to the materials and executing with hundreds of cuts and nips to shape and fit the tile or glass.  The resulting imperfections are the charm of a unique hand-made piece of art.
